Just as Chelsea were battling it out against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, Manchester United were having a difficult battle against Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

While Chelsea scored a late winner through Alvaro Morata in stoppage time, Korey Smith scored the winner for Bristol City in the 93rd minute to send United packing.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte revealed his shock at the result as he said in his press conference after the game: “It’s a great achievement. Manchester won the competition last year. You must pay attention in every game.

“These cups are very good for these types of surprise. I knew the final result in the changing room. It’s a surprise but in England it’s difficult to face every team.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
