Chelsea welcome Stoke City to Stamford in today’s Gameweek 21 clash.

With Chelsea third on the table, Stoke lie in 13th place, and 22 points separate both teams.

Chelsea enter this game at the back of a comfortable 2-0 victory against Brighton on Boxing Day, while Stoke drew 1-1 with Huddersfield.

Chelsea have won four of their last six league games, drawn one and lost to West Ham. Stoke haven’t lost in their last two league games, but have won twice, lost thrice and drawn once in their last six.

Chelsea will be aiming for another victory having won 4-0 away at Stoke City back in September. Chelsea have won the last three league games against Stoke, and the last time Chelsea suffered defeat against the Potters was the 1-0 loss to Stoke under Jose Mourinho on November 7 2015.

There are no new injury situation for Chelsea, with David Luiz the only major absentee and Andreas Christensen who sat out the win over Brighton through illness may again miss out.

Stoke are facing a defensive crisis with Ryan Shawcross, Bruno Martins Indi and Glen Johnson all injured.

And of course, Kurt Zouma is ineligible against his parent club.

Stoke never have it easy at Stamford Bridge and have only ever registered a single point from nine Premier League visits to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have won 25 points from a possible 27 in their nine Premier League home games against Stoke (W8, D1).

Stoke have lost 14 of 19 Premier League games against Chelsea (W2, D3), their worst record against any opponent in the competition.

Stoke have lost 14 of 19 Premier League games against Chelsea (W2, D3), their worst record against any opponent in the Premier League.

Chelsea have been in good form and have lost just once in 15 games in all competitions, winning 11 matches and drawing three.

My Prediction: Stoke tend to be stubborn at times but Chelsea will pack the three points. Chelsea 3 vs 1 Stoke City
