Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is looking forward to a busy schedule over the Christmas period, having previously enjoyed a winter break during his time in Spain and Italy.
Morata believes games around the Christmas period is good for children and he is hoping to score many goals this Christmas for them and help Chelsea in the league.
“I understand it’s an incredible thing, and if, when I was little, there had been games around Christmas, like on Boxing Day, I would have loved it. It’s great for the children and I really hope to score many goals for them this Christmas, and to help Chelsea in the Premier League,” Morata told Chelsea’s official magazine.
“I think it’s a fantastic opportunity for all the family to stay together and come to Stamford Bridge for the game. Probably this year, my family will come here – my parents and my brothers – and we will all spend time together.”
