It’s the fourth loss for Chelsea in the Premier League this season, and the Blues lost the opportunity to take advantage of Sunday’s Manchester derby after losing to West Ham 1-0.

See how the players are rated from this game:

Courtois: Was beaten by Arnautovic for West Ham’s only goal. Didn’t have much to do in the game. 5/10

Azpilicueta: Couldn’t do much to prevent his team from conceding the goal. Showed desire in the game but no end product when he went forward. 5.5/10

Christensen: Had a difficult game in defence against Antonio and Arnautovic and could easily have conceded a penalty in the second-half. Tried to cope with West Ham forwards. 5/10

Cahill: His sloppy passing just after the restart almost let his team down and had a difficult game at the back. 5/10

Zappacosta: Had a decent game as right wing-back before playing the second half as a left wing-back. Looked exciting and was subbed off for Willian in the 64th minute. 5.5/10

Alonso: Didn’t have any meaningful impact in the game and was subbed off early in the second-half for Moses. 4.5/10

Fabregas: Couldn’t dictate the tempo of the game as he would have liked, and the Hammer’s tight defence made it difficult for his passing to cause any trouble. 5.5/10

Kante: His passing was sloppy at times as well as some of his attempts at goal. Worked hard in the middle nevertheless. 6/10

Bakayoko: Yet another bad game for the former Monaco midfielder and was subbed off at half-time. 3/10

Hazard: Was Chelsea’s most threatening player in the first-half, showed some flashes of brilliance but the Hammers defence was too tight for the Belgian to penetrate. 6/10

Morata: Missed a good chance to level things up late in the second-half and wasn’t strong on the ball a lot of times. 5/10

Pedro: Came on for Bakayoko after the restart. Brought fresh energy to the team just after he came on, but he faded off later on. 5/10

Moses: Came on for Alonso ten minutes after the restart. Tried to use his pace on the right flank but West Ham’s defence was pretty solid. 5/10

Willian: Played the last 25 minutes of the game, but couldn’t do much to break down West Ham’s defence. 5/10

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
