It wasn’t the easiest of victory for Chelsea in the 2-1 win over Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal clash at Stamford Bridge.
It had to take a 92 minute winner from Alvaro Morata just after Dan Gosling scored the equalizer for Eddie Howe’s men in the 90th minute.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was happy with the team’s performance.
He said after the game: “Most important thing is we’re in the semi-finals. Last year we lost in the second round. It’s great for us. We reached the semi-finals with a lot of rotation.
“Against Nottingham Forest I made a lot of rotation. I’ve had a good response from my players and I hope to continue in this way.”
