Michael Emenalo last month stepped down from his role as technical director of Chelsea Football Club. The position has since been vacant but is now being temporarily occupied by a member of the Chelsea staff, according to reports.
Chelsea have tasked head scout Scott McLachlan with filling the hole left by former technical director Michael Emenalo.
McLachlan will work closely with Marina Granovskaia to achieve the club’s objectives and is already drawing up transfer plans for the January window, with the Blues heavily linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Leon Bailey.
Chelsea are currently reviewing their management structure and will also appoint a permanent replacement for Emenalo – which could be McLachlan.
