Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is nearing the end of his Chelsea contract, as he has just 18 months left on his current deal with the club.
He currently earns wages of £100,000 per week and has had a bit of a wrangle with the club over a new deal.
The Belgian has been attracting interest from Real Madrid, and Chelsea are keen on sealing the future of the 25-year-old before he reaches the final year of his contract.
The Telegraph report that Chelsea have offered Courtois a deal worth more than £200,000-a-week – a figure would take him above the earnings of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
