Chelsea defeated Bournemouth 2-1 to reach the semifinal of the Carabao cup.

It wasn’t exactly an easy game at Stamford Bridge as the Cherries scored a stoppage time equaliser after Chelsea had taken the lead early on through Willian. However, Chelsea got the winner immediately after, with substitute Alvaro Morata scoring the winner for the Blues.

The draw for the semi-finals took place after tonight’s fixtures that also saw Manchester United given a shock exit at Ashton Gate, with Phil Neville and Bristol legend Louis Carey doing the honours, as four semi-finalists (Arsenal, Manchester City, Bristol City and Chelsea) learned their fate.

Chelsea will play London rivals Arsenal in the semifinal of the Carabao Cup, while Manchester City were drawn against Bristol City.
