Every player’s dream is to achieve great success with the club he plays for. When Eden Hazard joined us back in 2012, I don’t Imagine he thought differently. Even he said he was inspired by the UCL win at the time. He joined to replicate such success, and win as many other trophies as are available.

Years down the line, the Belgian has become a huge success, winning the EPL, and other trophies, but he is yet to get the UCL trophy, which is the pinnacle of it all for every footballer. Of course, he has a lot of attachment to Chelsea, but the lack of European success since he joined might make him consider other clubs from time to time. The likes of PSG and Real Madrid have been touted as possible destinations for Hazard in the past, and even though he has never admitted to wanting to leave, you must agree he would have at least thought about making a switch at some point.

This season, Real Madrid rumors have resurfaced, and they’re stronger than ever. The fact Real Madrid have been dominant in the Champions League in recent years could be a problem as Chelsea try to convince Hazard to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Top clubs don’t lose their key players and Chelsea must prove they are a top club by doing what it takes to keep Hazard at Stamford Bridge. Hazard is undeniably one of the best in the world, and our most important, losing him might hurt our core.

King Jay is a writer/broadcaster with years of experience under his belt. His love affair with Chelsea actually began as a joke, but today, he stands tall as a die-hard blue. What makes him perfect for this blog? He lives for Chelsea FC, in fact, I heard he sat in the middle of a road, and refused to go home after that bitter loss to Barcelona in 2009. Haha.
