Chelsea defeated Newcastle 3-0 in the FA Cup fourth round tie at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The game saw Chelsea progress to the next round of the world’s oldest cup competition, and it saw debut handed out to rising youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Blues youngster Ethan Ampadu also featured in the game, as he was introduced for the closing stages of Sunday’s game alongside fellow 17-year-old Hudson-Odoi, and Chelsea became the first English top-flight side to field more than one player born in the 21st century in a single domestic match.
Speaking about the abilities of the teenagers, Chelsea captain Gary Cahill said: “It’s down to them.
“They certainly have the ability. I see them in training and they work hard, which is the most important thing, as well as the ability. It was great to see them on the pitch.”
