Chelsea U18 extended our lead at the top of the southern section to 9 points after defeating Norwich U18 2-0 at wet and cold Cobham.
The young Blues are currently unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions.
It wasn’t an easy victory for Jody Morris’s side as Chelsea U18 were on the back-foot for much of the contest, forced into determined defending and reliant on some good goalkeeping.
Tino Anjorin scored his fifth goal of the season to give Chelsea U18 the lead in the first half after the half hour before Marcel Lavinier made it 2-0 for the young Blues late in the game to wrap up the points.
The victory over Norwich at home extends our unbeaten home record in all competitions to 51 matches.
The next outing for Chelsea U18 is a trip to Sunderland in the Under-18 Premier League Cup quarter-finals on Saturday 27 January.
