Chelsea youngster Andreas Christensen has signed a new contract will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2022.

The 21-year-old today put pen to paper in a four-and-a-half year deal having established himself as a regular this season.

He joined Chelsea in 2012 from Danish side Brondby but was loaned out to Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach from 2015 to 2017, and matured during his two-year loan spell in Germany.

The Denmark international has made 22 appearances this season and has impressed so far as he seems to be Conte’s first choice as the middleman in Chelsea’s back three.
