Eden Hazard missed Chelsea’s FA Cup game against Norwich on Wednesday and wasn’t even named on the bench.

Conte chose to rest the Belgian who turned 27 on Sunday, and also revealed that he had a little problem in his calf but is now fit to play the all important derby clash against Arsenal on Wednesday.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Cobham, Conte said: “Eden is in a good physical condition.

“He has recovered well from a little problem in his calf. He is ready and is in contention for the game.”

He also revealed that no Chelsea player is having fitness issues aside recent acquisition Ross Barkley who is yet to play a game this season.

The Chelsea boss added: “Nobody else has any problems. Tomorrow night is too soon for Ross [Barkley] but we must be pleased because his physical condition is good and he has started train with us and understand our football.”
