Chelsea have been linked with West Ham striker Andy Carroll as the Blues seek to strengthen the team this January transfer window.
Rumours claim Chelsea are looking for a backup striker, and Carroll has been strongly linked with the Blues.
Speaking about the Carroll rumours, Conte said in his press conference today: “As you know very well because I’ve said before, the club knows very well which positions we can improve. But I repeat, I’m very happy to work with my players and the commitment of my players.
“Now there is the transfer market if there is the possibility to improve the squad, I think the club knows very well my opinions.”
Michy Batshuayi has also been linked with an exit from the club either on loan or an outright sale, and Conte responded to this rumour by saying: “He’s a young player, he’s a player he has a good future in front of him. He has to continue to work in this way with commitment, for sure it’s not simple to be young to play in a great team like Chelsea.
“I’m happy with his commitment, behaviour in training and when he’s playing.”
