Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has promised to keep fighting the Manchester clubs despite their huge spending power.
“We’re not worried,” Conte said.
“I trust in my work and if I stay here it will be because the club trusts in my work.
“You can do two types of football: only with money and you pay a lot of money and take the best players.
“The other way is to try and put a bit of money in and then hard work.
“We are in the middle. We are trying to do our best during the transfer market. If you have money you can spend it and have the best players. Otherwise you find other ways to stand up and fight.
“Last season we did a fantastic job and did a little miracle. The situation changes. I don’t like this word transition but sometimes you have to stop yourself and see the truth.”
