Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud featured for the Gunners in their 2-1 defeat away at Swansea on Tuesday night.
Nacho Monreal opened the scoring for the Gunners before goals from Sam Clucas (2) and Jordan Ayew sealed a memorable win for the Swans, and Giroud was brought on to salvage the situation.
Asked if Giroud had played his last game for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger told Sky Sports: “It’s a possibility.
“But all that will be decided tomorrow morning.
“We will inform you once that is more definite.’
Wenger then hailed Giroud for his commitment to the club.
“It’s a tribute to his professionalism,” he said in his post-match press conference.
“He’s given great service to the club, never let us down on the performance front and saved us many times.”
