Chelsea played an exciting 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
While it might have been a good game for the neutrals, Chelsea fans seemed disappointed with the outcome of the game after several wasteful finishing that could have given Chelsea the three points.
Conte was asked after the game if the draw felt like a defeat, and the Italian responded: “As I said before, to draw against Arsenal at the Emirates is a good result.
“You start the game you want to win but you finish the game, you drew, and it could be a good result. At the end of the game, if we go to see the chances we had to score, I think we dropped two points.”
When asked if he was angry with the outcome of the game, Conte said: “I’m not angry. Angry is a big word and for sure I know in my players there is a lot of disappointment because we win together, we draw together, we lose together, and for sure my feeling is the same as my players. It was good. It was a good performance. Good intensity.
“We played with a good intensity, like Arsenal. As I said before, it was an exciting game but at the same time we must be disappointed for the final result because to get three points today it was very important for us.”
