Since losing to West Ham on December 9 2017, Chelsea have bounced back stronger and better and the Blues have put in some impressive performances.
Chelsea scored five past Stoke City on Saturday, and Danny Drinkwater has explained that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been telling the players to keep scoring more goals.
“We managed the game quite well, we made a fast start and put them on the back foot straight away and I think that was why we won so comfortably in the end,” Drinkwater told the Chelsea official website.
“I don’t think we could afford to get sloppy because if we’d taken our foot off the gas and they’d scored, the game changes completely. We scored the fourth goal at a good time and finished it off with the fifth.
“That’s one thing the manager’s been telling us, we need to score more goals in games we are winning and we got five.”
