Reports claim that Chelsea are preparing a €50million double raid on Serie A side, Roma for Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri.
The reports also claim that Chelsea were keen to offer Michy Batshuayi on loan as part of the deal, and the Giallorossi were said to want a further €15m for the deal to happen.
After recent links with Chelsea, Dzeko’s agent Irfan Redzepagic, told Roma Giallorossa that his client is happy in the Italian capital and isn’t interested in a move.
“No, I don’t know anything about this,” said his agent. “I have no information to that effect.
“Dzeko is already a Roma player, you know that. Look, every time we talk about Dzeko the names of clubs like Chelsea, Chinese clubs, Mexican clubs come up.
“These are just rumours. The truth is that Dzeko wants to stay at Roma.”
When asked if he has speoken with Chelsea, he chose not to answer, but he admitted that the Chelsea manager indeed likes Dzeko.
“Have I spoken to Conte or Chelsea? My role means I can’t reveal certain transfer market dynamics. I understand the question, but I have a very specific role.
“All I can say is that Conte likes Dzeko. But then who doesn’t like Edin?”
