Chelsea are on the verge of completing their second signing of the January window as Roma left-back Emerson Palmieri is set to complete a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea and Roma are said to have agreed a fee of £17.5 million move for Emerson Palmieri, and the left back is set to fly into London on Tuesday to undergo a medical.
According to Goal, Emerson has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract, with around £8m of performance related add-ons set to be included within the deal.
With Kenedy having left for Newcastle on loan, fellow Brazilian Palmieri will now replace the young Brazilian.
The deal was to have been wrapped off today, but it’s now expected to be concluded on Tuesday.
