With Chelsea having striking issues and in need of a striker to support Alvaro Morata whose form has dipped, former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has advised the club to sign Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud.
Giroud’s future at Arsenal is uncertain having only started one Premier League match this season, and Parlour believes Giroud will be perfect for Chelsea.
“He would be perfect,” Parlour told Sky Sports show The Debate.
“But whether Arsenal would want to lose another player to their rivals is another matter.
“But I’m sure if Chelsea put a decent bid in, he’d be tempted.
“He hasn’t got to move, he can live in London.
“A little bit like Petr Cech, that’s the only reason he went to Arsenal at the time because everything was settled in London and he wanted to stay in London.”
