With Charly Musonda, Chelsea have a situation of a diamond in the dirt or better still, a time bomb waiting to explode.
The 21-year-old has so much at his disposal and showed in the first year on his loan spell with Real Betis that he can play on the big stage. Unfortunately, chances to shine at Chelsea have been far and few, with so many experienced players ahead of him in the pecking order.
The youngster has only made two appearances for the Blues in the league so far this term, and isn’t anywhere near breaking into the first team.
Having failed to make a loan move during the summer, the young Belgian could be out on loan before the end of the January transfer window.
According to the Telegraph, Bournemouth, Watford, Newcastle United and West Brom are the clubs that are interested in taking him on loan until the end of the season.
Bournemouth seem to be the favourite for his signature, as manager Eddie Howe was in the crowd on Tuesday night as Musonda hit a double for the Under-21s in their 2-1 win at Portsmouth in the Checkatrade trophy.
Chelsea are only interested in sending him to the club that will give him more playing time.
