Petr Cech remains a hero among Chelsea fans despite playing for bitter rivals, Arsenal.
Eden Hazard and Cech were teammates at Chelsea, before the legendary Czech Republic goalie left for the Emirates Stadium in 2015.
Hazard who had trained with Cech for three years admitted it was difficult to score past the big goalkeeper as he scored Chelsea’s first goal from the penalty spot.
He told Sky Sports after the game: “Petr (Cech) is a great goalkeeper, it is always hard to score against him but I put the ball in the net and that was the most important thing.
“I think we should won this game because of the chances we had.”
He added: “It was a 50-50 match, both teams played a really good game.
“Maybe we should have scored more, we missed some chances.
“The last shot should have been a goal. We are happy though.”
The draw now leaves Chelsea sixteen points behind Manchester City.
