Chelsea are close to finalising a deal with Roma striker Edin Dzeko, although the move hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Despite ongoing talks, Dzeko is still playing for the Serie A outfit, and has not travelled to England to discuss his Premier League return.

According to Bosnian journalist Haris Mrkonja, Dzeko’s move is being held up due to a visa problem.

He wrote on twitter: “I talked with #Dzeko agent over the phone.

“He claims he still isn’t in London, and still waiting for his British visa.

“Contacts with #CFC proceed over the phone.

“Only when he gets his visa he’ll be able to travel to #London.”

Dezko played for Roma in their league game against Sampdoria and even scored a crucial dying minute goal to keep the scores at 1-1.
