Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda has sent a strong message to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte that he is ready for more first team football after scoring a stunning goal against Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Chelsea fans have been eager to have Musonda play more for the first team and the Belgian youngster showed why after his performance for Chelsea development squad on Tuesday night.
With time running out for the Blues to find a winner, Musonda stepped up to take the free kick after Callum Hudson-Odoi was fouled.
Musonda curled a delicious effort into the back of the net to send the development squad into the next round of the Checkatrade Trophy with virtually the last kick of the game.
