Ahead of Wednesday’s FA Cup third-round replay with Norwich at Stamford Bridge, Norwich boss Daniel Farke has revealed Norwich will have a special plan for Chelsea.
“I’m hoping for another brilliant performance against one of the giants, and we’ll have a special plan for tomorrow,” Farke said.
“Hopefully with a really good performance and, if Chelsea aren’t at their very best, then we’ll always have a chance.
“It will be important to keep as much possession as possible, as we don’t want to be running after the ball for 90 minutes – so we have to be brave in our possession and our pressing.”
Farke also revealed he is expecting a strong Chelsea line-up.
“They can’t have a weak line-up,” Farke added.
“Chelsea played with (Gary) Cahill, (Davide) Zappaccosta, (Antonio) Rudiger, (David) Luiz and Willian in the first game, who are all amazing players.
“I expect them to have a strong squad, and that’s what we’re preparing for.”
