Jamal Lewis scored a late equaliser to send the FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Norwich into extra time.
The Blues eventually won the game via a penalty shootout after the game ended 1-1 on aggregate following the home and away fixture, and Norwich boss Daniel Farke admitted he was unhappy with the final outcome of the game.
He said in his press conference: “We’re disappointed. There are some players with tears in their eyes because they played with lots of emotion. I am really proud of them and their attitude.
Speaking on chelsea’s goal and their late equaliser, he said: “It was a bit sloppy and to concede such a goal was really hard. I got the feeling that when we equalised we deserved it. We defended the most period so well. We hit the post and it was deserved to equalise.”
He then added: “We went all in on this game. We will try to recover for the next game. We have to be smart with our recovery, so there might be some substitutions. I count this game as an unbeaten game and I want to get the seventh unbeaten game in a row. The lads deserve all the backing after this game.”
