It wasn’t an easy game against the Seagulls, but the Blues were up to the task as they won the game 4-0 courtesy of an Eden Hazard brace with goals from Willian and Victor Moses.

See how the players are rated from this game:

Christensen: Did okay before his head injury that saw him taken off around the hour mark. 6/10

Rudiger: Rugged defending from the German and was resolute in defence. 7/10

Kante: Good game stealing balls and protecting his backline. Chelsea’s second goal came as a result of his breaking opposition play. 7.5/10

Hazard: Definitely the man of the match, and his dribbling and runs was just too much for the opposition. Scored a brace to help kill the game. 9/10

Batshuayi: Didn’t get on the scoresheet, but you can’t fault his desire. Got an assist for Willian’s goal and had some good moments. 7/10

Luiz: Came on for Christensen and slotted in comfortably at the back. 6/10

Zappacosta: Came on for the final 15 minutes of the game in place of Marcos Alonso, and his long throw led to Chelsea’s third goal by Hazard. 6/10

Musonda: Came on for the final ten minutes of the game and showed his class with a superb pass for Victor Moses to score the game’s final goal. He was confident on the ball and always eager to have a feel of the ball. 7/10
