A dull and stale affair in the FA Cup third round appearance between Chelsea and Norwich. The game lacked energy and intensity and ended up goalless.

See how the players are rated from this game:

Caballero: Had nothing to do in the game as he was never tested all through the match. 6/10

Rudiger: Rough and rugged in defence but no industry going forward. 6/10

Luiz: Made two mistakes in the first-half that could have cost the team, but had little to do against a timid Norwich attack. 5/10

Cahill: Picked up a yellow card after a heavy challenge but didn’t have much to do at the back. 6/10

Bakayoko: Sloppy passing at times and didn’t do enough going forward. 5/10

Drinkwater: Couldn’t open the Norwich defence with his passing, and was just too ordinary in midfield. 5/10

Zappacosta: Had a better second-half after a timid first-half display, and had two telling shots that troubled the goalkeeper. 5/10

Kenedy: Not good enough going forward in his left wing-back role. 5/10

Pedro: Not his day at all as he tried to use his pace to manoeuvre Norwich defence. 5/10

Willian: Was Chelsea’s best attacking player, but others weren’t at his level. 7/10

Batshuayi: Didn’t have any telling contribution to the game and barely troubled Norwich defence. 5/10

Morata: Came on for Batshuayi after 70 minutes gone, but couldn’t break through the strong Norwich defence. 6/10

Musonda: Came on for the final 15 minutes of the game but didn’t have enough influence on the game. 5/10

Sterling: Came on in the stoppage time of the game and added spark to Chelsea’s attack in just two minutes.
