Victor Moses was a happy man as he crowned his performance on Saturday with a well-taken goal.
Moses put the seal on a fine victory in the dying stages of the match against Brighton, latching onto a sublime through ball from substitute Charly Musonda before finishing with aplomb, to set up a 4-0 win against the Seagulls.
It was his first goal of the season, and the 27-year-old was all too happy to have found the target after a wonderful assist from Musonda.
“It’s about time,” he said, having scored his first club goal since finding the back of the net in the Community Shield last August.
“I was due one and I’m very pleased to get on the scoresheet. It’s important to me and I want to keep on helping the team, working hard and hopefully score more goals in the future.”
