Since becoming Chelsea manager, one thing Antonio Conte has always spoken about is the need to strengthen in the transfer market.
Chelsea made some signings during the summer, with Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Davide Zappacosta and Danny Drinkwater joining the club.
However, of two those signings, Bakayoko and Drinkwater both came injured and took a while before they were able to play for the club.
And now, Chelsea’s recent acquisition Ross Barkley was also signed injured and is yet to play a single game this season.
The Times claim that the Chelsea boss is unhappy with having to wait long for his new signings to reach fitness every time as it has now happened on three occasions.
