Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was spotted having a quick word with Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez before Chelsea’s goalless draw with Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
The Chilean didn’t start the league cup game at Stamford Bridge, as he enters the last six months of his contract with Arsenal.
Sanchez is reportedly close to a move to join league leaders Manchester City, and he is a player Conte has long admired to bring to Stamford Bridge.
The Chelsea manager took the opportunity to speak to the former Barcelona forward on Wednesday night as they made their way up the stairs towards the dugout at Stamford Bridge.
And the Chelsea boss recently admitted that Sanchez is a top player as he was asked about signing the Chilean in a recent press conference.
