Chelsea played out an exciting 2-2 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, and one funny incident from the game was Cesc Fabregas’ first-half clash with Alexis Sanchez in a heated London derby clash.

Sanchez brought down Fabregas, and after the referee blew for a free-kick, Fabregas got to his feet and looked as though he was going to have some harsh words for the Arsenal forward. But instead, they hugged and had a laugh with each other as play went on.

After the game, Sanchez took to Instagram to remind fans of the moment, and point out that the pair remain good friends following their time together at Barcelona.

Surprisingly, Fabregas was given a good reception by the Arsenal fans and he also thanked the Gunners fans for their reception.

“Great game at the Emirates. Should have won,” he posted on social media.

“Thank you once again for the reception. We go again on Saturday. Thank you to the traveling fans, great as usual.”
