SEARCH FOR NEW STRIKER CONTINUES AS CHELSEA TURN ATTENTION TO FORMER MANCHESTER CITY STRIKER

New reports claim Chelsea are ready to turn their attention to Roma and former Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko.

Conte wants a target man at Chelsea and the Blues had earlier been linked with West Ham striker Andy Carroll but West Ham aren’t willing to loan the 29-year-old.

Daily Express claim Chelsea have enquired about Dzeko’s availability but have not yet lodged a formal offer.

The report goes on to suggest Roma would not allow their striker to leave this month.

The possibility of Dzeko joining Chelsea in the January transfer window would definitely be very slim as he would be ineligible to play in the Champions League after playing in the Champions League for Roma this season.
