Chelsea and Arsenal will do battle on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium, in the second leg of the semifinals Carabao Cup clash.
The first leg of the encounter ended goalless, and now Chelsea will have to face Arsene Wenger’s men without Cesc Fabregas and Alvaro Morata.
Antonio Conte revealed in his press conference today that the Spaniards are both injured for the game.
He said: “Morata and Fabregas are out. They are not available for the Arsenal game. Then we have to check a couple of situations. But, for sure, Morata and Fabregas are out.”
On Morata’s case, he said: “He has a problem in his back, and he’s injured. As I said before, I have to check a couple of situations before making the best decision for tomorrow’s game.”
In central midfield, Conte has the option of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater to partner N’Golo Kante, with Ross Barkley still not match fit.
For attack, Conte has the option of Tiemoue Bakayoko or Pedro to pair Willian and Eden Hazard in a three-man attack.
