Ross Barkley scored a brace in a behind-closed-door friendly against Queens Park Rangers. The 24-year-old is yet to make his Chelsea debut as he hasn’t played any competitive game this season.
Barkley has been short of match fitness which is why he’s yet to make his Chelsea debut since his move from Everton to Chelsea early this year.
Conte was asked if the midfielder will feature in tomorrow’s league game against Brighton, and the Chelsea manager revealed that he will be in the squad but he refused to reveal whether he will play.
Conte said: “I think Ross is in a good physical condition. Yesterday he played 70 minutes. Tomorrow he is in the squad and comes with us.
“I don’t know if during the game I decide to give him the chance to play or wait, or if the game doesn’t ask this type of situation. He has to work with us in our idea. Now he is in the squad.”
