Much of the pre-match hype between Chelsea and Barcelona focused on Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi, but rather, it was Willian who was the star of the show.

The Brazilian hit the post on two occasions in the first half before he netted at the third attempt, firing past Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the 62nd minute to give Chelsea the lead.

The 29-year-old was too hot to handle and was the best player on the pitch with his pace and skills causing all sorts of problems.

Chelsea fans were in awe of his game and took to twitter to hail the Brazilian for outplaying Messi.
