Eden Hazard’s current contract runs until the summer of 2020 and Chelsea have made extending Hazard’s contract a priority according to a report on Daily Mail.

Hazard is reportedly valued by Chelsea at over £200million and his new contract will reflect that with a salary expected to be around £300,000 a week plus bonuses, the report claims.

Hazard has consistently said he is happy at Chelsea amid interest from Real Madrid though he is reportedly understood to be waiting to see what Madrid offer.

Chelsea’s final league position could influence Hazard’s decision. Sunday’s defeat to Manchester United have left Chelsea outside the qualification places for the Champions League and Hazard could demand to leave if the Blues fail to qualify for Champions League football next season.
