Chelsea squad have been injury hit of late, with the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Alvaro Morata, Willian, David Luiz and Andreas Christensen all going to the treatment table.
Fabregas made his return from injury as a second half substitute in the defeat to Bournemouth on Wednesday, and now Chelsea have been given a boost ahead of their Premier League clash at Watford on Monday night with two key players back in training after injury.
Willian and David Luiz have both been training with the club’s fitness coach ahead of Monday night’s visit to the Hornet.
Luiz is back training and running after his ankle injury, which is good timing for Conte as Gary Cahill was mightily exposed by the pace of Callum Wilson when he slotted into the middle of the back three.
With Christensen absent due to the injury he suffered against the Cherries, Luiz will slot in that position while Willian’s return will bring back a fierce attacking impetus to the squad.
