Watford captain Troy Deeney opened the scoring for the Hornets against Chelsea on Monday night – and then gave Blues fans the middle finger while celebrating his goal.
Deeney converted from the spot after Thibaut Courtois brought down Gerard Deulofeu inside the penalty box.
After he cooly tucked home from 12 yards, the 29-year-old then wheeled off in celebration and produced an unsavoury gesture in the direction of the travelling Chelsea fans.
Deeney turned back and gave the travelling fans a double-handed middle-finger salute following his spot-kick.
This is unacceptable by all standards and bad for the game. Surely the FA has to look into this and fine the player for his poor conduct.
