Willian was the star of the match in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Brazilian scored Chelsea’s only goal of the game and was a constant threat to Barcelona’s defence with his tremendous pace and trickery.
Before his goal, Willian had struck the post twice, and Eden Hazard has revealed he had a word with the Brazilian before he eventually found the net with his third strike.
Hazard said: “I said to him [Willian] that he needed to shoot in the goal and not try to touch the post.
“I said that to him in the first half and you saw in the second half he scored the goal. I’m happy for him, he played really well.
“He’s a top player and he showed that.”
