While all eyes were on Michy Batshuayi for his star performance in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 win over Atalanta, he wasn’t the only Chelsea loanee to make an impact in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Fellow loanee Charly Musonda who joined Celtic for an 18-month spell was also on fire for in their Europa League game against Zenit St Petersburg.
With the hosts struggling to find a breakthrough, Brendan Rodgers turned to the attacking midfielder in the 73rd minute to create a spark and Musonda certainly made a huge impact with the assist for Callum McGregor with a sumptuous pass to score the only goal of the game and ensure Celtic will travel to Russia next week with a one-goal lead as they seek to reach the round of 16 stage.

Musonda is also having a good time in Celtic. Great times ahead for Chelsea indeed.
