See how the players fared in this game

Azpilicueta: Strong performance in defence, and was unfortunate to be on the losing side. 6/10

Rudiger: Brutal and no-nonsense defensive display from the German defender. 6/10
Moses: Started Chelsea’s counter for Willian’s goal, and was ever-present at the right flank to support the attack before being substituted late in the game. 6/10
Alonso: Didn’t offer much going forward, but was solid to keep Sanchez quiet. 5 5/10
Drinkwater: Gave a good account of himself in the first half as he was composed in midfield, but he faded out in the second-half and was eventually taken off for Fabregas. 5.5/10
Kante: Started the game well but became less dogged after picking up a yellow card in the first half. 6/10
Wilian: Continued his fine form with a fine goal, and was by far Chelsea’s best player. 7.5/10

Morata: Rattled the crossbar from an early chance but faded out afterwards as he spent more time on the ground than up. 5/10
Subs
Pedro: Came on for Hazard for the last 17 minutes of the game, but didn’t really do much. 5/10
Giroud: Replaced Moses with just over ten minutes left of the game. Brought his strength and was a good focal point. 6/10
Fabregas: Replaced Drinkwater in the last ten minutes of the game but couldn’t find a way pass United’s choked defence. 5/10
