Olivier Giroud made his first Chelsea start in the 3-0 win against West Brom, having moved to Stamford Bridge from the Emirates on transfer deadline day.
The French international assisted Eden Hazard for his first goal in the game and had some good moments in the game.
Eden Hazard who was the man of the match hailed Giroud as a good target man for him and other Chelsea forwards.
Hazard told Sky Sports: “He’s a great target-man, one of the best in England maybe, so when we pass the ball we can go around him, not just me but Pedro and Willian.
“He’s a good point of reference but we don’t just have him, we have Alvaro [Morata] as well.”
