Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on a season-long loan at Crystal Palace and has had a bright start to his loan spell at Selhurst Park.
His impressive performances earned him a call-up to the England squad and he starred on his debut during a friendly with Germany at Wembley.
He was key for Roy Hodgson’s side before suffering an ankle injury that has kept him out of the side since December.
And according to The Times, Chelsea and Crystal Palace disagree over the next step.
Palace are adamant that Loftus-Cheek should undergo surgery while Chelsea believe he should let it heal naturally.
The 22-year-old has been back at Chelsea and is eager to return to action so he can make the squad for the World Cup.
