Despite insisting he doesn’t intend leaving his position as Chelsea boss, various reports claim this could be Antonio Conte’s last season as Chelsea manager.
According to a report on Daily Mail, Chelsea are considering Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri to replace Antonio Conte.
The report claims Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been impressed by Sarri’s style of football at Napoli.
Another reason why Abramovich reportedly wants Sarri as Chelsea boss is because Sarri often refuses to demand new signings. He instead insists it is his job to work with and improve the players at his disposal.
Napoli currently sit top of Serie A after producing 18 wins, three draws and one defeat this season.
Sarri has an affordable release clause in his contract with Napoli, allowing any club to buy him out for €8 million (£7 million) up until May 31.
