Chelsea left wing-back Marcos Alonso was dropped from the squad that lost 4-1 to Watford on Monday night.

The Spaniard had started every Premier League game for Chelsea this season before the game against Watford.

Alonso missed the game against Watford after picking up a minor muscle injury.

However, he is expected not to be sidelined for too long and should be back for Chelsea’s clash with West Brom.
