Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been dropped from the Manchester United team in recent weeks.
Ahead of Chelsea’s visit to Old Trafford on Sunday, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte expects Pogba to start against Chelsea. Conte also admitted Pogba not making the starting lineup on Sunday would be better for Chelsea.
Asked if Pogba will start against Chelsea, Conte said: “We are talking about a top player. Talking about a fantastic player. I’m expecting to see him on the pitch. Then, if he stays out, it will be better [for us].
“As I said before, we are talking about a top player, a top player. Every coach has to find the right way to manage him. But I think that Pogba is showing at United that he is a top player.
“I must be honest: my focus is only on Chelsea. I’m not interested on what happens with the other teams.”
