Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is rumoured to be in line to take over from Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at the end of the season.

Chelsea left wingback Marcos Alonso has given Enrique a glowing endorsement by insisting Enrique would be good for any club following his links to Chelsea.

Enrique won one Champions League trophy, two La Ligas, three Copa del Reys, the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the Spanish Super Cup, while in charge at Barcelona.

“Luis Enrique has shown at Barcelona that he is a great coach with many qualities and I believe he would be good for any club, but I do not know him a lot on a personal level,” Alonso told Cope.

Do you think Conte should leave at the end of the season and is Enrique the right man to replace Conte?

  1. A big NO! He has been to Barcelona, a club with a defined way of playing. Chelsea is a so political club he cant survive the wave of the likes of Granovaskaia. I bet him not to think of it even for a second.
We have seen it in many coaches, if Chelsea parts with Conte it will be hard to find another better coach.

Yes, Conte does not have confidence on his players mostly on the strikers, how will he be featuring Hazard as false 9 while we have two able strikers, let him check his record on the games that Hazard played as false 9. Chelsea win no one the list is to draw.
