Juliano Belletti moved to Chelsea from Barcelona in 2007, and he spent three years at the club before eventually leaving in 2010.

The Brazilian was a utility player at Stamford Bridge and he admitted that both him and his family love the club.

He told the official Chelsea website: “I scored just one goal in Barcelona, I scored five goals here so it was special for me.

“When I was here we won the Premier League, here at home, some good Champions League matches, and the respect of the supporters with me and my family. It was an honour for me to play here and with the amazing team-mates I had. They had a lot of quality as people, and as players. I’m a Chelsea supporter, I really like this club.”

Belletti was at the West Stand ahead of our victory over Crystal Palace last month, and it was his first time at the Bridge since his final league appearance for the club – the day we clinched the title in 2010 with an 8-0 humbling of Wigan.

He said: “It was a special match, a special result. My family was here with me on the pitch, my kids. My son Joshua is nine now, and he really, really loves Chelsea. I am very happy to be here again.

“English football has the best atmosphere in the world, I can tell you. Better than Brazil, better than Spain. The Premier League is special: the organisation, the atmosphere, the matches are top-level quality, the players too, of course, and especially Chelsea FC.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
